Ompah area ice condition?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ompah area ice condition?

Post by SIG-P2101 »

Anyone knows condition on the lakes around Ompah. Is ice gone? Any snow still on the ground or in forests? Planning fishing trip next week.

THANKS!!

My father was on Mosque this weekend and he said the ice would be gone about two weeks or so as well...The edge of shore is just starting to go...With all this snow melting I can see it being pretty muddy as well.

I'm goingto be fishing Palmerston Lake this summer for the first time. I'll be there for the last week of June and the first week of July. Any tips? Thanks.

A good tip for that lake is patience...and a white 4" grub on 6lbs floro leader to a medium gang troll about 30-75ft depending on the temp.
