Hey RockLobster,
I'm not familiar with this lake, but if it's anywhere around Ottawa, the ice has to be gone by now....and if not, it will be by the end of this week. I hear 21 degrees on Saturday. Whoo hooo

As of this morning, we still have ice here in Constance Bay...I'm sure it'll be gone after this weekend. There's also snow visible from here up in the mountains at Luskville from Monday's snow storm.....here's a pic of the river this morning....

As of last Friday, all of the lakes around Calabogie were still iced with the exception on one. I would guess that only a few more might be open by the weekend.

I know of it, can find it on the map, though I've never fished it. And it wasn't ice free the last I heard.

Shiner and Scully are still iced in as of today. Maybe by Sunday they will be good. I'm sure Oriele will still be iced. I will find a way in there this year one way or another.

The trail into Oriole is very rough... not for your average 4x4

We were up there today. The trails are very wet, still some ice in the big puddles. The hill just before the lake is steep, you will get down but getting back up is iffy.
