looking for some ideals for a names for kayak/canoe fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

HI ALL


I see there is a lot off people wit canoe in here and there sarthing to be a lot wit kayaks now.

so we will start a little club for this region(the capital's)

so we are looking for some sujestion for the names.?

sorry nothing to wins... :roll: :lol: :lol: .

we have now some ideals.

here it goes.. :o

ex,,C.K.C.F.C.,,,,,,capital kayak and canoe fishing club.




O.R.KF.C .ottawa river kayak and canoe fishing club......a bit long thaugh... :roll:


CC.P.F.C canadian paddlers fishing club.

N.P.F.C...........northern paddler's fishing club.(do like that one)..k.F.C...canadian kayak fishing club.


OCKFC.. Ottawa Canoe & Kayak Fishing Club?


any ideals....??????

and even some logo ideals would be great...

we will have are own sticker and t chirt.ok i am thinking to far a bit.. 8) :lol:

I can think of at least one corporation that wouldn't want you guys to be KFC...and I think that web address is already taken :lol:

come guys guive us some more ideals.

would be fun to see how many here do fish frome a canoe or kayak.

i do no there is a lot off them.in here .

and a lot oter not on the net.

would be great to have some outhing or even fishing derby just for paddlers. :P

I vote for Walkers idea Joco. BACK, it's simple, accurate and what really sold me was it's use of Ottawa's old name of Bytown.

we have to put canoe in the names.. :wink: ....there is a lot off canoe people like me that would join.. :wink:


bytown is nice..but i think.just saying...for people out off town or later on wen we will have a site(mabe)..ottawa is more easy to pin down to where it is...i think... :? :roll: .

but hey idelas is ideals and i like it all.we need a lot off it..

Wow, I haven't been on here since softwater season last year but gwright tells me that we have a few more kayak people out there now! Great! :D I think a club is a great idea. So far, I am liking OVPA as well. I had also been thinking of a website for Ottawa kayak/canoe anglers as well - just to raise awareness and get more people involved. What do ya think?
