Bay of Quinte opener

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Bay of Quinte opener

Post by CCLad »

Who's heading down this weekend, where are you staying and what's the plan of attack?

I will be staying at the sportsman Inn, in Picton. I'll be brining my white 14 foot star craft - any halkt talker's feel free to say hi and perhaps share a beverage.

I'm 90% sure that I will be targeting mohawk bay Napanee river to start, maybe moving to the narrows if that's not producing. Then up along into Long reach area.

Whats your plans?? I can't wait..................."There's one"!!! :D

We'll be staying at perfect vue, we'll be in a tracker pro-guide side console, never fished hay bay so we'll give here a try, if it's a no go then the narrows at the red buoy.

We will be camping out of a tent trailer so I hope the weather stays nice.

I have a legend xcal. This will be her first time out in the bay. I have fished there many times in smaller boats. The bay can get nasty in hurry. be carefull guys. good luck.

I'll have my vhf on. :D

I'll be there with my 8yr old son, staying at a cottage we rented a couple clicks west of the bridge at Deseronto. We'll be touring around the area a couple of hours at a time :D

Ahh,

Mere hous from wetting the line for the first time (soft water) in 2007. I'm sure it will be tough to pick any of you out of the mass number of boats that will be out there. But best of luck to all. The weather looks great, winds are forcasted from the NE, sun is suppossed to shine, full moon sat night!!!

Good fishing and safe trip all,

CCLad.
