As crappie season comes to an end, so does the Crappie Contest.
As chosen by my 10 year old son, the winner of the Crappie Contest, and a tackle package...courtesy of Extreme Angler TV is........

Ah Bobber. Ouch!!! I would have thought a fellow fisher
man woulda had my back.
There is a funny story to this fish however, My fishing "
partner" that particular day had managed to badly tangle the line on the ultra-light set-up I had lent her. Being as nice as I am, I lent her my rod. While buried in coils and twists of monofilimant, she almost had a sweater knitted
. anyways all, I hear is this little squeal,"I think I got one!" And as luck would have it, That was the fish pictured in the contest. It never fails, sometimes I think the "fish gods" are all women.
She's really happy that she's getting new taclke. So am I
