olmstead lake

planning a family vacation on olmstead lake near renfrew mid jult the renter says there is bass pike and walleye in the lake has anyone fished it .... whats in there.
I have Fished that lake befoe, not for several years though. The lake is very small and receives quite a bit of pressure. The bass fishing is fair, there are lots of little pike and there are a few Walleye but they can be hard to find. If you have a boat and trailer your about 15 minutes from Muskrat lake which is a much larger lake and holds some real nice fish.
You should have a good time on Olmstead though.
