Two Firsts

Well we got out for a little bass opening fishing at the locks. (We just bought a fixer upper boat, but I'll post about that later)

Owen caught his first bass, hook it and pulled it in by himself!

I also hit my first bass:

These are largemouth... correct?

My husband got skunked on the bass, lol. It was a really fun afternoon. Thanks for the look.

Very nice indeed. I love to see the look on a child's face when they catch a fish. It's priceless.

Wow, your son's first bass is bigger than most I've caught!

Nice job! He must have been very proud after doing everything himself. Something he'll never forget....
