Heading To Smith's Falls on Long Weekend

Hello All,

I am going to Smith's Falls on the Canada Day weekend (this weekend) and am looking for some good intel. Does anyone know where I should try and fish, what I'll be getting and what gear I should bring. As of right now I am planning on bringing two medium action spinning rods (6 and 8 lb mono), an assortment of jigs with scented tubes and grubs covering a spectrum of colours (white, pumkin seed, chartruese, and crayfish). I'm going light on cranks, plugs and spoons and heavy on spinners and boogy baits.

I'm hoping someone knows a good lure or patterns to use in this location.

Any information would be helpful.

This info won't help you catch fish,but its nice to know ahead of time.... Local launches maintained by Parks Canada (Poonamalie,Beveridges etc) now charge $9.90 per day for launching and parking .
