Looks like a relaxing and enjoyable morning. I really enjoy catching lots of small guys off the dock or shore. I pinch my barbs so as to not hurt the little guys and so I can get them off quickly. And you never now when big brother is coming to come cruising.
Thanks for the little post salmon.

Nice pics SALMON...how were the mosquitos in your neck of the woods? There must have been a fresh hatch here because they are in full force, even during the day in this heat! Not the bigs ones we encountered a month ago but lil guys that bite the hell outa ya!!

Nice smallies! Went smallie fishing a bit last night.. But I guess my spot wasn't like yours

I kept catching smallies after smallies but then i caught a decent smallie, gave a nice fight but half way in, a huge muskie ate it

Happened twice last night! At least you got to land the fish!
Thanks for sharing

Salmon,
Those are definitely "awwwwww, cute" qualifiers.

When we hit an area like that, we call it "The Nursery".
At least you got a decent one in the bunch & had some fun.
W.
PS: some people like to feed the ducks; Nodie likes to feed the 'lunge.

No mosquito's on the river..only in the bush on the way down. Fishing rapids behind the house with small pools and pockets..most likely why I get all the little ones.
