Hi Everyone:

Bass fishing has been a little slow for me so far this year. Just wondering if anyone has information on Deerock Lake east of Madoc. I have not been there in some time. I wanted to take my son camping and fishing there and I was wondering if its worth fishing and can you launch a boat there. Any information would be helpful.

I find the fishing there has been really poor the last few years. I think the secret got out and it over fished now. Still might be worth a visit as its a great camping spot and there still has to be a few swimming around in there.

Smokey, thanks for the advise. I will keep on looking in the area. I may be heading further east to try some fishing near the Rideau. I like to island camp on crown land and I hate to pay for camping. Once again thank you for the information.
