40+ pounders MORE added Oct 20th

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Het Tlunge ...Richard is putting his money where his mouth is...why don't you visit his site and see for yourself....

At 6'3"" and over 230lbs Richard makes em look small...I personally know him very well and know what he can do.

I would be thrilled to catch half the fish he does and on top of that he makes a lot of dreams come true for a lot of anglers.

I've seen a lot bigger fish from Richard.

Where are your fish????

Thought so!

Whatever

Man the head on the one in the second last pic is huge!

And why do people always have to come on here and question the validity of people? This is why alot of people dont post reports anymore.

It's fun to see that the Montreal guides say that they caught all their fish in the Ottawa river while those on the Ottawa river caught them in Montreal... Putting the pressure away...

As for their size: they're big, without a doubt

Great Fish Richard!!!

I was lucky enough to be invited out by Richard for a fish and he's a class act (and a big fellow too)! He put up with my lack of skill and did most (really all but i have my pride..hahaa) of the work and i was just a tag along on one of his trips with his son. He knows his stuff and i don't think he'd lie about the size of a fish.

Those were amazing fish!

But, I've got a beef with everyone praising the catches of guides. They spend most of their time on the water and fishing the same water. So, really its not like they're doing something special that you can't do. Especially the Ottawa, the river is so predictable with fish locations.

And, this is the worst part... trolling is the preferred method. So, they just know where to drive the boat. But ,yeah, they know where to go...but if you basically spent your life fishin you would too.
