I was driving by here yesterday and thought what a nice looking spot. I was wondering if anyone has fished that area and how it was there. I may take my daughter to giver it a whirl.
Thanks

I've always looked down and wondered the same thing passing over those bridges in town. Never seen anyone fishing there though. I'd give it a whirl, maybe the fish aren't pressured at all. Seems like there's some depth there, could be good. Good luck! Let us know how you make out.

I live right near there and have fished there a few times but it is very shallow...Deepest spot is 6-7ft. Many a fly fishermen fish there but as for casting it will be difficult fishing I think. There are bass, pike and perch and certain times of the year the walleye run through but not to easy to catch. Give it a try it never hurts to try...Oh and let me know how it goes.

right in my back yard for the most part fished just east of the bridge many times ..... cant believe I did not this summer

.
Best way to do it is with chest waders and wade along, there are a few semi deep holes.
It is smallie heaven ...... tons of small ones but I've got a few in the 3 lbs range. Lots of rockies the odd walleye and even an occasional pike.
I use an ultra lite combo and small jigs with a grub (plastic). Noticed a lot of guys using the fly outfits, not sure how they did though.
Bass is closed now in this area (Div 10)so guess you may have to try next year

Sunnies are caught more to the back bridge down the path. It is a little point that some people fish and I have caught a few there. As for Bears post he is bang on as I also stated.

geeez....I go over that bridge almost everyday (I live in Scotch Corners) and have wondered about fishing there. It actually looks like its deeper to the north of the bridge...is that the case???

There are some spots that get about 10ft but most of the land down that way is Private property so you can only get there by kayak or canoe. Through Aplleton it is pretty consistant for depth and near the golf course is not passable at times of the year.
