I would say depending on the wind you could launch at Adolphustown Public Area located on hwy #33 or the Glenora Ferry Ramp at the end of Hwy #33. I launched at Glenora last sunday and the wind was blowing from the west. It made it a little tricky to get the boat back onto the trailer as the waves and wind became strong.
Glenora is a large concrete ramp with a steel grate and it is steep and deep. Depending on your boat 4x4 might be a must. There is a wood dock that is attached to a peer. The water is very low which makes this dock almost higher than my boat. A 18' legend. There is also a good amount of parking. I did see people parking along a side road that was close by. The ferry hands can be helpfull in giving you directions to park.
I have not launched the boat at Adolphustown as of yet. So I dont have any info on the conditions.
Hope this helps.

It probably is missing some...I wouldn't know.

I was simply trying to help with a reference I had found on the web.
I encourage others to fill in the gaps wrt more local and convenient ramps. That way, we all benefit from it.
Tight lines,

Where to Fish?

There are the charter boats fishing the waters in front of the cement plant and heading up Long Reach towards Shermans Pt. There are a lot of fish marks on the graph in the Thompsons-Shermans area, but the bite has been slow.
The fishing east of the ferry seems to be producing more fish than the inner waters.
I think the water is too warm for the Picton Bay fish - IMHO.
The launch at the ferry is the best on the east side of BOQ, the launch ramp in Picton harbour is very good, but it adds to the distance travelled.
LOtsa Luck
