Sunday Morning Ottawa River Ice Report

It won't be too long now before we can start to get out ice fishing on the river...this is the view as of this morning..the ice is almost right out to the main channel and marker buoys...yesterday though was wide open!!.....hopefully this strong south wind will keep up and blow the snow off of the ice.....


Hoping to have the ice shack out on the river by Dec.22nd

up to 40cm off snow(mabe plus snow for the next 2 days....outch.

this is very very bad for the ice we have now....heavy on it.plus a huge insulation wont get ticker.... .


but nice to see that ice.
