Getting thicker

Checked the ice this morning and most of the slush has frozen solid. Where i checked there was 4 inches of white ice. Well if we see six inches by the weekend i might actualy get to fish!

crappy bay has 2.5" on it right now. not the best looking ice either, slush isn't completely frozen yet.

Lost 1.5 " since Monday morning. Cause I measured 4" then the slush and snow on top.

I didn't measure it but that was our estimate without all the slush and snow on top of it.

guys ... this week end could be my last week end of living ....
me and big bass 444 are going ice fishing and we dont care about the thikness!!
i will be bringing ice picks incase i do go thru and try to pick the ice and get my cold ace outta there!!!
i cant take this anymore my mind is made !! TO THE BAY OR DIE TRYING

You will want more than a set of ice picks if you do fall threw

Hey 24/7 give it another week bro. A fish aint worth your life. Have you ever gone through the ice. Firt instinct is to try and catch your breath just hope that your head aint under water when this happens. Oh yeah "i'm dieing to go fishing" is just a saying. Don't take it to heart.

hello all. i just joined your site and it looks great. i was out ice fishing on dec. 4th and the trout were snapping. we have about 5in of ice but up here we've had plenty of -20 nights.
p.s. - if i've made any mistakes posting this please be patient, i'm still trying to figure everything out.

Welcome to the site Pete. Don't worry be happy. Keep those trout fishing stories coming... oh yeah and pictures are always nice too.
