Vex

Post by Tip-up »

So, I sent a money order out about 9 days ago to Corey at Vexilar. I was just wondering how long it should take for himm to get it :?: :?: There main headquarters is in Minneapolis, MN.

Also, when my order gets accross the boarder, who/where do I pay my Ontario taxes for the products and duty. I didn't go UPS because of all the $hit I heard about it's eye-popping fees. Guessing customs or something...I have no clue ?

I can't wait for my order.....It's going to be hell of a huge box

Hoping someone can chum in on this

Thanks in advance

Not sure Tip-up!! Supposedly no duty if it's North American. And Vex is N.A.

Not sure about taxes either.

Didn't you just buy an LX-5 from Riverside???

He likely has your MO by now....

Depending on how he ships it....if it goes surface it could take 2 weeks plus...air will be under 2 weeks...

You will be bent over at the door or at the post office for your fees if he sent it USPS....if he sent it any other way other than USPS...grab your ankles and hold on....the carrier will be there for awhile...

Enjoy the new Vex Andrew....mine's charged...

Andrew,

I gave a friend of mine a call this afternoon regarding this who works at Canada Post. The problem is not the shipping, it's the amount of time it will spend at Canada Customs.

This time of year it may take an extra 7-10 days :?

But he say's you will receive it be Christmas.

Enjoy it!! Wallyboss is right, no duty just pst, gst.

I bought an FL-20 but Andrew and I both have a set of bibs and some hats coming in. Thanks for checking that up for us Alain, much appriciated.

RJ How do you like the FL-20? From what I hear its much clearer! Do you see the difference?

Anthony

Under the agreement, I can get one peice of marine electronics per year at a very good price. I opted to let Anthony grab his unit first and get mine January as we are in a new year. No rush for me, don't mind the FL-8SE for a little while longer..she will be up for sale soon :o Both getting FL-20 Propacks of coarse :D

Going for the Duel beam Ice-Ducer

About 7 degrees!!!! Sorry Shark you left yourself open for that one.

It's just the angle of the cone from the transducer to the bottom.

Here is a link from vexilar that explains the whole Deg. thing.
