mississippi report grasshopper point, fish finder question

was out from 2:30pm to 6:30 pm on mississippi, drilled 8 holes, tested bunch of lures recently bought from ebay, fireball jig, genz worm, flyer jig, etc. not a bite for two hours. hear screaming from a guy 30 feet from my hole, run over to the guy, there was this huge pike stareing at the guy's underwater camera, the guy throwed a jigging rap at him but he apparently didn't know it's a rapla or maybe he has seen too many of them. after 30 seconds the pike disappeared from the camera. went back to my spot and drilled another 8 holes and fished another 2 hours, still no fish.
after going home skunked decide it's time to invest a cheap fishfinder. did a few google search and found this really cheap one called "see to sea GKF-02A", when I say cheap it is forsale on ebay brand new for $39 US plus 10 for shipping. Found a bunch of videos on internet it looked a all right for the price. Anyone has any experience on the fishfinder ?
even with no fish it was still a good outing with good weather, the ice was about 15 " and there were a few cars and trucks on the ice near the crowd of huts. I wouldn't drive on the ice my self and please play safe if you want to drive on ice.
