Well , Not a bad day on the ice , good weather , good company , cold beer and most importantly steady action on the lines........ I iced 4 splake , all between 3 and 4 lb,, not to mention being broke off a few times......My fishin compadre also did well with 2 on the ice and one that he had to the hole twice before being broke off ,, looked to be 7 or 8 lb through the hole....... I'll be posting the pics shortly, got a new camera and the adapter should be here next week.................

Relatively, I'm fishing on a flat that tops out at the 15 ft mark, and drops off down to 90 ft .................

Right on...thanks for the info.
Normally we fish shallower than that but I wanted to give some deeper water a try. I figured they could be anywhere since they have both laker and speckle in them. There is one spot on the lake that tops out around 15ft with deeper water on all sides. I think that will be my first kick at it.
We fish for our speckles in about 5 ft of water and do quite well.
