crappy conditions

Just to let you guys fishing in the Ompah area that I was up at the cottage this weekend and the lake was awful. The guys with atv were pretty much screwed and even us with sleds we just spinning and swimming. Lots of slush. We were going to attempt the quinns and maybe raindrop but heard the same report on ice conditions there. We did however manage a couple 5 lbs trout.

It was pretty sloppy here on the Ottawa River as well with LOTS of top water... even last night was a pain driving the truck off the river!!......this morning looks promising though...

Swago: Good for you for getting a few...I fished that lake for about 10 hours over the course of my weekend and only managed to have one on just to loose it soon after. The ice was starting to get like that near the end of our trip.
