Tipups - My Newest Model

Well guys,
I finally created the ultimate tipup for hard water fishing.....
The one displayed below is only a prototype for my office but works just as well.
It's 10" in length and don't laugh at my fish, just tried to do my best
Here is a closer look.......
They're very easy to do and not expensive at all. The material required is 2 1"x2"x6' and 2 1"x3"x6' which comes to about $20......
P.S. On another note, that snow still coming down pretty hard. It's starting to get on my nerves......
I now know the feeling of those that cant wait for soft water.

Thanks for the ideas and designs Fish Finder! Do you typically build a base for the tipup or just jab it in the snow/ice?

I like the challenge of one hole and a jiggin rod , but I think your on to something there....can you set the drag tension or does it freespool????

Yes you can set the drag tension or have it free spooling, your choice.....
You could be jiggin one hole with a rod and watch a second hole with this tipup....

there cool those tip up.
hey you need buzers on them..
and mabe some night reflective tapes....nice wen ski-doo come close to them at night..or you looking at them at night fishing..tape on the end part..you could see it going down etc.
mabe some l.e.d on it to..
m i got some ideals..

Buzers, Tape and led.... Now that's a good idea
especially when fishing night time

Wow, if there was more time for some icing, i would really consider putting and LED on my tip up, ...Maybe next year

No it's not. It's just paint. The rig itself does not require much to tip it. They have 10 ajustable setting holes so you can ajust to your likings, from light to heavy, depending on the species your targetting.

heres my order...
10 of those sweet kick butt tip ups!
2 dozen of those wooden fake fish's
and some nice weather!
all that delicered for saturday morning!
on paradice lake if oyu dont mind!
Oh yeah and can you drill me 10 holes please my back if broken from the snow !!
