If anyone is interested in fishing bass tournaments this year, but doesn't want to commit to an expensive series, take a look at Ottawa Valley South Bassmasters. http://www.ottawabassmasters.com

OVSB is a smaller club with a boater / non boater format. This means you don't need a boat to sign up and get involved. You can fish 1 event, or all 5.

The fees for the year are as follows:

- $75 Club Fees
- $45 to Join Bassmasters (Includes a magazine delivered to your door)
- $50 per Tournament.. Fish all 5 it - $250.

Here's the 2008 Schedule:

- Mississippi Lake (Town Launch) - July 12
- Charleston Lake (Conservation Launch) - July 27
- St. Lawrence River (Morrisburg Launch) - August 16
- Big Rideau Lake (Conservation Launch) - August 30
- White Lake (Cedar Cove) - September 14

Norm, same as always, Memorial Day weekend end of May. As we get closer I'll give details, Joe. My Devs may get Rangers first round, last game of season(sunday) will determine home ice. Haven't beaten em yet!

Not really...but that's just me.

After watching the video there is no doubt in my mind....No I do not want to be like Mike, however, the OVSB tourney series looks quite interesting.

I'm on m/n shifts this week, so I'll have to see how much of a "veg" I'm gonna be on Friday.
I was planning on picking up an order at Bait Casters on Friday too.....might have to get a road trip organized if I feel up to it.
