6" grandma perch colour.....say no more, its the most productive spring lure I've ever used, for all species, especially eyes.

For me it will be the Ottawa river, Prolly tossing my fav 1oz black spinner with gold blades. It's kinda sad that I have very little left in the line of tackle that is not Muskie related.

Probably the Ottawa River for me as well. My focus is bass fishin' for most of the year and I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to toothy critters -- I have some jerkbaits and spoons that I'll troll with behind my kayak this spring though. Whatever happens happens....

Husky jerks, matzou prisim 3/4 jig head with 9" soft minnow body baby pike color and white kickn' minnow 10" and top water 80mm poppers 3-9ft of water on the St.Lawerence river are deadly.

On the QC side of the border, it opens on the third weekend of May and so is pickerel. Big O is my number one lure for sure. It is good for all species..... Good old Red Devil spoon is another lure that works pretty good..... My friends use spinner baits and works real good.

The lake will go to is Lac St-Marie and will concentrate on walleys...... but if the opportunity arises will try for pike.

The Ottawa River is tough to beat, as the pike are plentiful, and definitely a lot of big lads Arnprior way.

I'm old school with the lures. I use the hell out of an old lucky strike spoon called super flash. If it ain't broke.....
