Anyone know where I can get these locally?
I haven't seen these in stores lately.
I tried to order some from Cabela's but they won't ship them across the border. I called and asked but they couldn't give me a reason why.

Cabelas definitely ships to Canada - not sure why they would tell you they don't. If I were you, I would try them again.
Bass Pro Shops sells them, and I am 100% certain that they will ship them to you.
LeBaron's has a decent selection of YUM plastics, that is when they are on top of restocking it. Might want to make a call in to them to see if they do in fact carry them.
I would imagine many of the retailer's on this site also carry those, unless they are not on the market here in Canada. Give each a call before you put an order through to the States...

I ordered other stuff without any problems but it was specifically the Yum plastics that they wouldn't ship accross the border. If you go to their site and try to order it, it will be removed from your cart after you give your Canadian address with a message about not being able to ship it to Canada or something like that. Weird.

I'll try Le Baron's again. Hopefully they'll get some in.

There's a new cabela's in Montreal...did you try calling there?

I haven't heard of the new Cabela's being open yet. There's only a proposal mentioned on their web site.

Cabela's backed out of the deal and won't be opening up in Montreal. Bass Pro has now announced it will be opening a store there:

i was watching a fishing show the other day and the host was talking about yum baits and he said that they are bio-degradable while it is being used due to the scent it gives off. maybe that might be the reason that they can't ship to canada from the states.
