Pike Opener Report- Better Late Than Never

It's been a loooooooong time since I have posted on the forum, I started up my own business back in 2006 and as a result fishing opportunities had shrunk right up while I was trying to do all the work to get clients etc etc.
Now that everything is working as it should I'm starting to find time to get out once in a blue moon.. ( gawd 25 more yrs to go before I pack it in and can fish everyday!)
Anyhoooo I was out with Packrat and Ollie on opening day at a spot not too far from here, between the three of us, we managed 3 pike, a gazillion pesky brownheads, one jumbo perch, I don't know how many jumbo sized rockbass, pumpkinseed and a sucker and of course them OOS things.
Not only that I "caught" this these two things
This was my haul for the day.. Packrat donated the perch.
