Boat Security Product required

Hi folks,

just got my new triton TR186 boat and love it!
however, the manufacturer left a few small details to be desired.
for instance, the spare full sized tire is acceptable to theft as it's only hanging onto the trailer frame by a "J" hook type clamp with a simple bolt!
I want to add a lock to this and wondered if anyone had the same problem and can advise what they did to resolve it or advise of any products on the market that would help me.

also, there is no chain mounted on the trailer toconnect to the front eyelet of the boat when trailering it. the boat only came with the cranking strap, any suggestions on how best to secure the boat to the trailer?

Strong Bicycle Cable lock. Any lock can be defeated if the thief wants it bad enough..

try here for trailer parts

try calling stittsville trailer about installing a safety chain if you don't have the tools to do it yourself.

I have seen these locks, or something like them, at Canadian Tire in the past.
