Hi thanks for having me here

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lots of places you can fish from land. Manotick, Burritts Rapids, Smiths Falls, Merrickville, Downtown Ottawa, Dows Lake, Hoggs Back, Ottawa River etc.

South nation river, kemptville creek, challies pond (trout), in Lanark, the clyde river, indian river, tay river,.

I've been fishing my whole life and know all the local rivers, creeks, and lakes which you can shorefish from.................Basically anything with road access can be shore fished, but some places are much better than others and are more suited for it..............

If you drive and want to fish sometime, let me know. I'm 22 and don't drive because I can't legally drive due to disability but I'm down to fish and i'm not in a wheelchair or anything i'm normal just have blood clots in my lungs and bleeding in them and stuff and have severe pain......but can park my butt in a chair and fish..not a big deal....sorry about the divorce, that sucks butt.

If anyone reads this and needs a fishing partner, let me know. I'm not down for a ton of fishing but I don't mind going out every once in a while and trying my luck. I go once a week already but it's not enough.....

Anyways, Take care

Hey there Basseater, no boat, that sucks.. Well, shore fishing is still pretty fun, i cought some big bass from shore, come to think of it, i cought more fish from shore than from my boat. Oh well, good luck with the shore fishing, i hope you find good spots.

And welcome to Fish Hawk!

No boat...no problem! Some of the best fishing for bass I've found has been from shore...almost makes it more sporting :D

And if you've got access to water...start thinking about a tube instead! I got mine christened this opening weekend and hit the water Saturday,Sunday,Monday Tuesday! And didn't have to sit in line at the gas station ONCE!
