When: Sunday September 7th, 2008. => Organized and run by our very own Mr. J.
Where: Rideau River (Kars Stretch)
Last year we had 17 anglers. Winning pike was 30 inches. Winning musky was 47 inches. More details to follow. Prizes to be awarded (still working on them)
Rules
1. One derby entry for pike and one for musky
2. Digital cameras are prefered but a witness to fish size is sufficient, biggest fish is based upon length
4. Please practice catch and release
5. 100% payout for each fish species
6. Most importantly.....Have fun and be friendly
I'll be selling the ballots at the RA launch. I'll be there for 6:30 am and we start fishing at 7 am. If you miss me at the launch then you can come and find me on the water. I have a 162 Princecraft with "The Other Woman" on the side and a white Johnson on the back. Everyone was able to find me last year so don't fret over it.
I'll be first off of the water so that I can be at Broadways first for everyone to show up at 1:30 pm.
You'll get 1 ticket for your pike and one for your musky. Everyone who shows up at Broadways get's a raffle ticket regardless if you got a fish or not. But for every fish you do catch you get an extra ticket. I have a couple of prizes lined up, more on this to follow.
I hope we can get close to the 17 anglers we had last year.
