McLaurin Bay is on Fire Report !!!!!!!!!!!

With the Rumble coming up this weekend 24/7 and I headed out on the
Ottawa River wednesday evening to check things out around Rockland
area ,,Since we don't fish the river very often we didn't catch any fish
But with 1/2 hour before darkness we storm into McLaurin Bay ,, and
right off the bat .....Bang, Bang, Bang, Bang Buckets by the handful
Even the pike couldn't mind their own buisness
Then tonight , Flippen and teamed up for some McBay action . Again the
buckets were active
Walleye on a spinner bait
Ummm a catfish on a spinner bait
Here's Flippen with a fourish Beast and a couple of sidekicks
Man that Bay is on fire
Saturday this could be the '' Hotspot '' for many tournament anglers

For myself I like a challange so I am not going to fish the bay for the tournement, even though it is so tempting. especially with all the nice buckets I have been catching there. It definitly was a good night though. This was the first time in 20yrs of fishing I have ever seen a cat fish hit a spinner bait. Brother your are the man.

....like I said....on Saturday what mathers is weight per one bass not a 5 keeper average.....Mc Bay won't win this. Sorry!
It would have been better off left alone for at least 4 days....for it to be primed...now look at it Paul just look what you did!!!
....the spot is over fished before the Rumble!!!!!....weight is getting down!!

24/7 might not be able to make the tournament saturday......
So I just might linger around the mouth of the La blanche river flashing
some Monsters in front of the tournament guys

B.A. I have lots of traveling on the water to do on Saturday
But won't stay long at any of them....just want to key in on spots on the spots.
