Hey Tippy: I have been trying this year to fish the slop you show in the last picture but can not for the life of me get anything. I either get a big ball of weeds or it gets stuck and I have to rip it out of the cabbage. How do you fish that mess properly???

Your reel sounds like it's on borrowed time Anthony! Not quite an episode of Action Angling but you'll do in BBR's absense

Nice bunch of pics lads.

What's borrowed time Don?
AlomonteFisher, the picture posted...We did not fish that area. I would start by fishing the pockets, then maybe a frog to cover water. The water was not to shallow so there was a few methods we could have employed.
Fishing the jungle takes some getting use to, it will take a few landed fish before you have confidence there's fish in all that.

Nice clip, and pics. Is it possible to get to this area from the Lapasse boat launch? I hardly ever go up river when I launch from there and it seems that you guys do all you fishing up river from there. Malloy Bay is as far up as I have gone when launching from Lapasse.
Cheers
Marc
