Caution At Crotch Lake

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Caution At Crotch Lake

Post by the bogie Man »

Hey Guys and Gals
This is just a warning to all of you who fish or camp at Crotch Lake and use the boat launch at the south end of the lake. I was there over the long weekend and had all the gas taken out of my gas tank!!! Not a big deal took some out of my boat and began to fill the tank , until i realized that the nice guy who took it drilled 4 1/4 holes in the bottom on the fuel tank, it was a horrible experience and would warn people to watch this site.

This is one of the reasons I dont use the public launch on Crotch lake. I used it once years ago and there were so many vehicles you were lucky to find a spot to park and there is no one around to watch or even see someone doing something to a vehicle. I am lucky that the owner of Tumblehome Lodge lets me launch and leave my vehicle on his property if I go and camp or even just for the day.
Still love the lake and surrounding area.

With waterfowl season opened, someone is taking their life in their hands, if they get caught taking gas from the wrong dudes vehicle.

Wouldnt you just love to catch the little bugger in the act with a 12 gauge in your hand! Knowing the way that things work he would be let off and you would be cuffed and tossed in the back of the cop car while he continued to take your gas

Not to get too political. But remember that sentiment come October 14th!
Some parties who shall remain nameless would agree with you!

They'd get off as they are "less fortunate", victims of a harsh world!
You being the upstanding, well-off citizen would need to be punished for wronging this poor, unfortunate, soul.....

Trust me...I have been there, got in trouble for it, and the real "criminal" got off.....

Yes, most people with a brain would agree......
However, certain portions of the population would side with the Ahole in question.

I don't know which is worse....the little criminal bas*&rd or the people who allow this crap to happen........

Criminals need jail time and accountability for what they do. Us law-abiding folk should not have to suffer months, years of court just to see someone get a wrist slap.

That's terrible. It seems someone is a serial gas stealer at Crotch Lake.

And you 2 are only the ones who have reported this online, imagine how many victims there are.......

I hope when this guy does it next time the drill makes some big sparks and the truck explodes leaving him without arms or something.......maybe that teach him a lesson.

Hmmmmm...from reading that post in http://forums.fishontario.com/thread.js ... eID=198500&
this appears to be a re-occuring thing at that launch and more than likely by the same jack-azz  ........

If this happened to me and I knew that this wasn't the first reported case of this happening, I'd probably spend a day up at that launch with a couple of friends playing Bogie Man in the bush waiting for the culprit to show up.....then, it would be the worst day of that guys life!!!!! 8)
