Is there an equivalent to the Ontario Backroads Mapbooks for Quebec showing boat launches and species ?
Are they broken into regions (i.e.:Outaouais Region) ?
Cheers,
Prairieboy

There are a bunch of Quebec backroad mapbooks. Locally, you want to try the "Southwestern Quebec" backroads mapbook.
If you have any of the mapbooks, check out the last page, they list all the books they produce.

The Ontario Mapbooks can be bought at most of the local shops. I got mine at Bits & Baits but I did not look for the Quebec versions. Next visit I will.
Thanks,

The qc mapbook is not very good... It as cost me several hours of backtracking because of unacurate maps... The info in there is good, but do yourself a favor and buy an actual roadmap with it.

I have the Southwestern Quebec one, it's great. Has all the streams and rivers etc in it........Although there are some parts which are not true, like for example it says a boat launch is on the lake and we went to one and there was not really a launch.....just campsites.......
But it's a good buy.....
I would get it.......I forget where I got mine.

They sell them at Candian Tire and Chapters. I got mine at Chapters on Rideau.

Remember, these maps go wayyy back. There may have been a trail/boat ramp at one time, but that could be 50 years ago.
These books are not a navigational aid, they are a backroads/trail book. They will give you a general idea, but don't depend on them with your life.
Also, my little trout stream is on it, all 2 inches of it
