Hello Fish-Hawkers

First Post....

I was looking into purchasing a motor mount for my canoe. I went to every canoe/fishing shop I could think of without any luck. The closest I came was the Paddleshack but they were out.

So I decided to build my own:

Works like a charm. sturdy too.. I've hit trees and bottom pretty hard.

Checked out Paddle shack this week and they retail for $99. They look good, but I like mine.
Most importantly, I've been out with it a few times this summer. Here are a few pics...

Thanks for the compliments!!! The second Walleye pic is my PB. Chunky fish... GOOD fight!!! As always, pic doesnt do it justice ;)

Its worked out well so far. Its nice to get into areas most cant with bigger boats. The electric motor makes fishing a breeze from a canoe. I promise, more fish pics to come!!!

I considered an outrigger. I thought it might get in the way when landing fish?? Does you Kayak have an outrigger? How does that work out? It would be nice to have that stability though....
