Anyone know if they are still charging to launch you boat in Rockland at this time of year? I am planning on heading out tomorrow, and will simply launch in Wendover if I have to.

Thanks a lot guys, I'll be out there bright and early. I just think $20 to launch you boat is a total rip if you can drive an extra 8 mins. and launch it for free in Wendover.

I'll certainly come by and say hi if I see your yak out there Joco. Look for my Lowe, I'll be fishing the weed lines early on.

Hi
We were out on the river on Saturday. beautiful day for fishing but not too many fish. (1 pike and 1 sauger)
We launched at Wendover and were pleasantly surprised to see that the parking lot is now completely paved and the docks were still in. We did not make it up to Rockland to see if they still had their docks.

I only use the Rockland ramp a couple of times in late fall every year. They actually shot themselfs in the foot with this tupidity. All other launches meaning dozens of them on both sides of the river are free so all the local business are losing because of it.

Just think that gas station can be getting a lot more gas, food and timmies business. I mean a lot more.

The only good thing about it is that it lowers the fishing pressure in the Rockland area, I guess the pleasure boat pressure must be down somewhat as well.

Did you see that they want $350 for commercial use? I wonder who's paying that.

Docks are still in at Rockland and like Joco said, quite the amt of trailers in the parking lot too. They'd have easily paid Gaetan's wage to sit in his shack and chainsmoke and collect $20s all day...

Of the $ 20.00 ..$15.00 is for the launch fee, the other $5.oo is for Gaetan's
addiction

The lot was full because they're not charging, you will never see it that busy when they are charging oops gauging that is.
