Brian and I boated all mediocre fish. We had some moderate action with pike and bass, but there wasn't anything worth snapping a picture of. Besides, the kids mopped us up with these fish:
Tyler with a Good Smallmouth (white spinnerbait)

Shane's Fat Bluegill (worm)

Decent Pike for Torpedo (white spinnerbait)

Ty and Shane caught lots of Perch like this on worms

Panfishin' with worms was ON - A fat sunny for Shane

Fish of the Weekend Goes to SHANE! A 32" Northern Pike (wh. spinnerbait)

This fish was extra fun, caught on a day with water like glass. It was stalking Shane's white spinnerbait, and he yelled out, "Mom, look!" As he was quickly running out of space before the lure was boatside, I told him to stop the retrieve. It worked: the second the bait started to flutter down, the pike struck and Shane set the hook. We could see the whole thing play out. It was wild, and quite the fight as the fish was very fresh, hooked so close to the boat. Good, strong release, though, and Shane was so pumped and proud. This is by far his personal best pike.

Now some beautiful scenery shots, for those interested.

Stratos in the morning mist...does that make u want to go fishin' or what?!

Giant Water Bug (that's actually what it's called)! It swam away fast, and they can also fly.

Hope you enjoyed. We sure did. One complaint: time went by too fast. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving holiday!
