One day while rigging a hollow pencil lead for boppin along the bottom it dawned on me I don't need swivels etc.
If you decide you don't like the pull on the lines out of the pencil lead...put a bead there too....yup
ANOTHER METHOD ...SCROLL DOWN.....

Nice Gus,
saves on tying the swivel but usually the pencil lead is held on via rubber tubing or crimped to a piece of mono so that if the lead gets stuck on bottom the lead will pull off and you get to keep the rest of the rig.
Now I'm betting that with skills

, you don't lose much lead but for me, i'm basically painting the bottom with sinkers when I try drifting with weights

I'm thinking more practice needed... lots more practice.

HERE IS ANOTHER DROP SINKER METHOD I DREAMED UP...IT REQUIRES A LITTLE WORK BUT WORKS WELL.........I USUALLY PUT A LITTLE ARC IN THE PENCIL LEAD ....I THINK THAT MADE IT WORK EVEN BETTER....YUP
this probably is not new...I am sure others have used it....I have seen factory made droppers with a wire aparatus...this is much more economical....
