The hooks have a lot to be desired.

Im giving Marmish a go this year, see what all the noise is about.

We appreciate all the positive comments here and saw some of had some concern with the hooks we use. Our goal is to offer a high quality product. We use VMC and Mustad hooks in just about all the jigs we manufacturer. For the most part we have always received high marks on the hooks we use. Please dont take me the wrong way, I hope Im not coming off as defensive. If at all possible, Im just looking for some more feedback on the problems any of you have encountered with our hooks. Im certainly not opposed to looking at using other hooks if people are having problems with the hooks we currently use. Again, I appreciate the positive comments and also appreciate any other feedback positive or negative anyone can give us.

I sent an order in last night and within 30 minutes or so an e-mail was sent saying that my order should be on it's way within 24 hours.
The prices are right! The delivery charge is minimal! and the jigs look good!

So I think it's a win win situation. If Brian becomes a sponsor, maybe I should've waited before ordering cause he might give F-H members a discount

I still have a bunch of Jamminjigs left from my order three or four years ago and not even began to think about another order just yet...which is a good thing I guess and shows how much life these jigs have I have so many jigs...and keep buying more..when really...there only about 3 or 4 that I use every outing Used one or two out of the 50 jigs I was talking to Nodie about this last night...The hooks were fine back then...

You guys should be sharpening your hooks after ever couple of fish regardless

There has to be a guideline how to use those jigs.
I meant sizes, colors for each major fish.
The way how you present that particular jig to the fish.

What I'm looking for is:
How often do lift up you rod (in seconds)?
What is the amplitude ( frequency, altitude ) of rod movement?
How high from the bottom do you keep it?
What depths they go ( up to in feet) without current?

I guess it's a request to manufacturer to have a discussion forum page on their site to explain those techniques and statistics from actual fisherman what patterns are working preferably with video matarials.

There is no point to buy those jigs without that type of knowledge.

I go ice-fishing for 25 years. From what I know presentation is crucial.
I assume you know good location.

Additionally to Marmish jigs ( called marmishka) you need a sensitive small rod sometimes called balalayka. Those 2 factors together create the best live bait presentation. Marmish also sells those rods.

Buy a Vexilar it takes all the guess work away....and you also can buy much better rods than those plastic jobbies....the St.Croix line of ice rods is worth a look....

I've never sharpened any tiny jig's hook...there's barely enough to sharpen...
