Decided since the old eyes arent cooperating with me, I thought I'd try and go for some lakers this weekend. I got a map of the lake and know how to get to it just dont know where to get on it or where I can park. Wont be driving out on it in my crappy little car, but like to get out. It says on the info I found theres supposed to be pike burbot and lake herring as well in there, any large number of any of these? Planin on headin out there tomorrow for better part of the day, Ill be the lonely guy walkin round aimlessly with the orange floater suit if anyone else is headin out that way.

86, the easiet access is the picnic park just past the provincial park, depends though if the entrance is plowed or not   , generally the far side of the island right out from the park is where i see people out and where i have fished

Good Luck moving anywhere quick on any of the lakes in that area.....the snow on the lake I was on yesterday was knee deep with 4 inches of water under the snow.....

Sure am glad I bought a sled....

I am guessing it's going to be like that everywhere RJ. Considering any option tomorrow, will most likey end up in Calabogie.

Let's see some pictures of the new machine!!!

was in calabougie a cpl days ago ice is great and the snow is light and easy to walk thru not very deep at all, also some nice snow pack from sleds if you want to venture out further on the lake
