abu garcia bait caster reel

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Reel to Reel would have the parts for sure, if they don't, they can order it. I brought my Abu in there last year, they actually had the part I needed, the small cap the holds the screw in place on the handle. I don't have the #, but I know Lebaron would as would Manotick Bait.

Good luck

Yeah it's a fair piece out but pretty easy to get to once you know the route.
Their business sign is down so you have to watch for their address closely.
Just took a bunch of my reels out there last week.

Can't wait to use them again.

Drove out there tonight....from the east end , man what a long way out , took two hours in total from Walkley Rd to reel to reel then to Gatineau

The handle I needed was for my Shimano Curado ,,,Ouchhhhh !!!!!!!!!

$ 95.00 from shimano , yep thats what I said '' Ninety Five Dollars "

I'll try and straighten it out ,,24/7 stepped on it at the end of the 2008 season

Ebay often has broken reels that could be used for parts for your Curado. Would be alot cheaper than $95.

What model/year Curado do you have....if I come accross something I will let you know.

prices????

Post by Big Jim »

Right from the warranty department at Shimano...

They start at $18.00 for the old Curado 200B and go as high as $65.00 for the new 300E/301E, with some other models at $45.00 including the "D" Series... then you are looking at $60.00 for the brand new E-Series like the 2009 CU200ET.

Not $95.00 from Shimano.
