looking for July walleyes

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

looking for July walleyes

Post by prcab »

We will again be making our 2 week summer fishing vacation to Charleston Lake July 14-28th. This year we will be staying at a new cottage on the shoreline(THANKS WOLFE!) after the island home we stayed at for a number of years sold. After we have had our usual fill of catch and release bass and lake trout I would like to do some walleye fishing with my girls. Can anyone suggest a lake within about an hour drive of Charleston Lake for walleyes that I can launch our 20ft boat and fish. I would like to stay out of the St lawrence river. Thanks as always for the great advice you guys always provide. Paul

One hour from Charleston would put you nearly to Napanee... OK, 1.25 hours to the waters edge...

Launch at Hay Bay and you have the entire Bay of Quinte at your call... THE TOP walleye fishery in North America...

Google Bay of Quinte Walleye... then decide.
