Bruce Pit Crappie report

After years of walking my dog there I decided to try it out... could not believe the size of the crappie in there!!

should be heading back this weekend!

Nice size - Good stuff... finding where the Crappie are is the hard part - now you're on to the easy and the fun part of the game!!

Nice fish. Given the size of this tiny pond, you probably have put a lot of pressure on the fish there!

I'm curious how Crappie managed to get in there? I'm guessing they run up some creeks into the pit to spawn or something? who knows.

I always thought no fish were in there.

Strange.

Catch and release from this body of water, it's dirty! Plus it would be nice to have a strong population of fish for Catch and Release!

Wow ... Bruce Pit ... who knew!!!! :shock:

What did you catch them on? (On a side note ... what is everyone's favorite crappy rig?). Haven't dipped a line yet this spring ... but dying to soon!!
