I've heard just West of Iriquois(sp) are some islands and shallows that have produced... I'm not a walleye guy, but was in that area for opener of bass last year and was getting pretty lucky....

YEah thats a good spot as well as near the dam in Iroquois...if you are bottom bouncing you well loose a few rigs...or alot I swear there are trees down there and becareful out there the current is quite strong in that section of the river and the water is still cold!!

Take a drive along highway 2 you'll find all kinds of spots, I know that by the dam in Cornwall guys catching from shore with husky jerks.

Eye, Be very careful above the dam in the Long sault, Ingleside area as that was flooded 50yrs ago and LOTS of stumps and foundations.

Try the area between Long sault and Ingleside, look for the boats near the bridge.

If you live in Cornwall you have great walleye fishing right there. Just west of the Arena you will see a plne at the air force club . The last time i fished there you could lanch your boat there. Right out from there you use spinner & worm with 2 oz sinker & bounce bottom Drift from there to 1/2 mile past the complex lots of good size walleye in that area .as for pike anywhere from Summertown east to Lancaster.fish around weed bets lots of pike & some real big ones use a red dev spoon or something similar dont forget to use a leader. good luck & let me know how you make out.tight line

I will be out there as well eyehunter pulling out those beautiful st.lawrence wallys. You can fish infront of casco in Cardinal but there is always A LOT of boats half of them american but the fishing there is great. Long sault by the causeway is also a good spot. Good luck

BTW: If you got a busty-blond with you, you might get a warning.. so keep one handy at all times...

As long as you don't drop anchor and remain in the Main channel of the St. Lawrence you're alright. If you drop anchor or enter non-international water such as an inlet they'll have an issue.

Upper Canada Village around the monument is great spot. Gets a little busy sometimes on the shore.

I fish the US side accross from Cornwall for Smallies and there is no issue. I would however keep a few bucks in your pocket if you are fishing around Cornwall Island the Mohawk Conservation guys come around.....you can buy a license right there on the spot from them.
