En route........

With slop, his "ratsotail replacement" (Rich), and Dan-the-big-laker-man, with the disco lund to give these lads their first taste of a 21 inch Quinte crappie.. We should be on the water by 3:30ish. Hopefully we'll be reporting live from the bay..... If the action isn't too hot, we will be taking pics and video's. Full report to follow.

Hopefully the talking stomach calms down by then, as Graembo has just noted that "non-boater etiquette dictates that 'crunching' in other people's live wells is frowned upon"... No worries Dan, I'll obviously have my white bucket with me...

Launching at a buddies cottage (private launch) and trying out a few spots recommended by some very serious crappie anglers from down south. Part of the deal was not mentioning spots, or even areas. We'll be running the full length of the bay though jumping spots.

Had these dudes not shown me pics, I would have called BS till I was blue in the face. Some of the spots will have easily recognizable landmarks, so you can expect the backgrounds to be edited in our photo's.

I hope I am not leading these guys on a 2.5 hour afternoon tour for no reason. I'm also hoping the walleyes stay out of these shallow spots we'll be in come dusk. If this trip is a flunk I know a spot up the Trent I can take them to redeem my credibility.

Just about to the 401 now......... This may have been a better idea for tomorrow........ It's gonna be choppy as hell.

Are you near the water Mattdbz99? What's it look like on the bay?

Can imagine how rough it is out there today, if it is as windy as it is here it is going to be a lot of fun! Good luck Luke.

Dan is happy with the high winds, "even if you had to go in the livewell, it would be impossible"........ Sure Dan.......Or messy.......depending on how you look at it...........

It's only a spur of the moment afternoon outing RJ.....and as for your requests...

I won't be anywhere near Grants filthy wiry goatee, or Dan's cheeseburger locker....... And I just met Rich about two hours ago so I'm not about to pop him in the beak...

No need for estimating. The tape measure doesn't lie..

Quinte is visible now... And she's fackin rough!!

That sucks eh? That long drive and that's what you're faced with.
Should have taken a quick look at the forecast I guess

Here ya go: Winds NW 26lm/h with gusts to 35km/h (but at least it's sunny)
