This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Went to Fiztroy Park today. The water is shadow and dirty. Saw 4 to 5 Gar Pikes and 1 snake passed by.

Last year, a buddy off mine and myself saw a lot of gars in a shallow spot right off of Galleta side road towards Arnprior. We were fishing for bass and channel cats when we noticed a couple of big gars moving around in the shallows right near the bridge.

We got there attention with some of our lures but were unable to set the hook into there rock hard mouths.

I have heard that people often use some type of felt loop to lasso around there nose. Or maybe having very sharp hooks the key. I dunno ???
