Alone @ Mc Greggor today = big fish!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Yes Paul!!! I was thinking about you when I got there! There was 1 loon at the launch site when I got back 2 ducks.....and a beaver :D

RJ.....

Side planers works well since the lakers are near the surface maybe 5 to 10 feet under. Most anglers don't use them and they should at this time of the year. The less trafic on the water the better it is. Many lures works well...spoons, minnow baits and siscos set up (large spoons with fluoro leader (36 to 40 inches long).
The best tips I can give about Mc Greggor.
The lakers are feeding most from May 5 to May 10....this is prime time  The lake is clear so use settle colors.

BB444,

I'd say it was "a good day", too! Beauty of a laker and nice to have the bay to yourself.
