Hello everyone I am looking for a campsite for both myself and my brother in-law to put a trailer and boat so we can fish. Anyone know somewhere good and fairly close to Ottawa? (within a couple hours)

camping spot...

check out Murphy's Point Provincial. Great docking right there and access to the Big Rideau at the deepest part(if you want to fish for lake trout). It's about 1/2 hr-45 mins out of Smith's Falls. Cheers, Fishtraks.

I believe Sand Lake in Westport and also Pike Lake on the way out of Westport towards Perth both have trailer parks / campgrounds as well as the fish species you are seeking.
Added benefits are the close proximities to both Westport and Perth, and also the multitude of other lakes a stone's throw from either Sand or Pike Lakes.
