Mississippi Lake ???

Has anyone been out on Mississippi lately? Just wondering how the pike and walleye were?

fishing on the most part has been good for walleye and pike(at least up to last time I fished last Friday). Planned to go out today, but work came up. Might be more difficult anyway with the cold front having moved in )the previous friday when the wind was blowing from the north, it was slower and I only picked up one walleye over 4 hours.)
Bass were hitting as well in shallows so I try to stay away from those rocky/sandy areas.

Whent the south wind is up....the walleye fishing has been great. The present cold front should slow down the bite so the jig and minnow off deep humps would be best.
