All right guys here we go.
I have made up my mind to catch a muskie this year. I have the right equipment- 80 lb power pro, heavy rods and reels, large bucktails, spinnerbaits and topwater. all i need now is a couple of ideas on where to go.
I am in Perth and the rideau and ottawa river are about the same distance.
What sections of the rideau should i tackle? The rideau would be my preference as i only have a 15 footer with a 30 hp, a little small for the ottawa
I am looking for a couple of boat launch ideas for a starting point.
What areas do i look for this time of year?.. I am not looking for anyones honey holes just somewhere to get started and learn on my own
thanks guys

muskie question
I fish the Ottawa on the worst days in my boat...no bigger than yours...
Both bodies of water are great!...we are very fortunate to be so close to areas like those...
get out there chunkin them big baits....and hold on...
make sure you have all the right tools to release.....bolt cutters...long nose pliers...a glove...etc.
