The best multi species bait I know is a white grub on a jig head..., walleye, bass, pike, lakers, pannies, it catches it all. I suppose gulp alive might be better...I'll have to give it a shot some time.

Koppers Live Target Yellow Perch Patern
Just came back to the hotel room in North Bay from fishing on the Pier. 4 smallies tonight, first one was on first cast.
You can throw these thing long into the wind.
Same thing a couple of weeks ago on Muskrat, second cast over the weed bed and pike on.

Bone White POP-R - not always the #1 producer, but for me it's the most fun to fish... so if I have to do it forever.... might as well enjoy throwing it...
So where do I pickup this life-time supply of bone white pop-r's????

Jig Head with a worm. Every fish gets hungry at one time or another. Second would be that same jig head with a gulp alive minnow and a knife so I can cut it to target small fish or leave it whole to catch something of size.
Trout, Crappie, Carp, CatFish don't generally hit large weedless spinners but they will hit a worm or minnow, so will a bass, pike muskie or walleye.
A jig head covers it all.

A Carolina rigged spinner and harness with a gulp minnow. You can add or subtract all the weight you want for different depths or use them with bouncers and they will catch any variety of freshwater fish. I've thrown just about everything else and this is definitely the "go to" bait.
