Has any one fished Larder Lake and if so what can I expect. I know the lake has lakers and northern pike but I do not know if there is any other types of game fish. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

My fishing bud fishes there on opening weekend in June and this year he and his brother won first place in the Larder Lake Derby (50th anniversary) catching lake trout. They got one over 7 lbs.
I don't where on the lake, but he was trolling spoons.
There are lake trout there but hard to get in the summer.
Lotsa Luck

My parents live 25 minutes from larder lake, I've fished it, LOTS OF LAKERS!!! The lake is stocked yearly and has tons of 1.5 - 3lbs fish. Try trolling #40 silver Williams wablers with a minnows and stinger hook on a downrigger at about 40'.
Tight lines,
