Thought some of you Hawkers might enjoy this (I'm not really a bass guy myself). These are pics of my buddy's dad with a trophy largemouth from Frontenac Park earlier this year. This big boy weighed in at 7.25 lbs and was 22.25 inches long.

That is a reall nice fish for sure!!!
I am glad though I am not the one in that picture because I would get less than 0 positive comment here for having a cute little chain flashing around this largies mouth
I would sure like to own the same scale that was used to weight this fish.
What I really like about this picture is the face expression. Catching a nice bass like this can only make this a memorable day! Felicitation!

I'm guessing she went in the frying pan. Today's Taxidermists can create a replica from a photo and measurements. Fish that big are the ones you want spawning year after year.

These are quite the comments coming from a guy who complains about getting ripped on all the time........
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the less then positive comments you got involved 'pre-season' fish on a chain did they not? Slightly different.
As for your scale comment........ good grief.......
That's a beauty fish for sure. Tanker for this area. Congrats to your buddies dad!

The fish was released. The proud man holding the fish is an avid conservationist, and I believe the chain was used only while waiting for the guy with the camera to paddle over -- had to snap a photo of this guy!

If it was kept, or released in a frying pan, it's none of anyone's business, nor is it illegal. Some people need to keep their mouthes shut. Period.
And B444 after all the slamming you take about the weights you claim your fish weigh, how can you stoop to that level and do the same?
I'm gonna go register a domain called ego-hawk.idiot, where all the perfect, professional know it alls can hang out to boost their own egos and slam others.
A lot of people on here seem to think they're some kind of living legend, when indeed they're merely a myth in the making.
And BTW, great fish. Congrats to the "old-man".
